All mothers of newborn babies are welcome to join the mother-to-mother support groups – first-time moms as well as moms with older children. This is a great way to meet other moms going through similar challenges as you. Dads are also most welcome!
As the saying goes: It takes a village to raise a child. The village, in the cities that we live in, are family, friends, your community and professional help.
Integrating this new little person into your family unit and getting used to your new role of being a parent can be emotionally charged and tiring.
This involves a six-week course where mothers, with their babies, meet for tea and coffee. Each session starts with a 15-minute brief talk on a topic, followed by the moms discussing their experiences on this topic. This also includes a one-on-one consultation with myself and weekly weighing.
